Everyone can significantly lower the risk of chronic diseases through healthy habits, like avoiding smoke and reducing alcohol consumption. A healthy diet and regular exercise improve the psychophysical wellbeing at all ages. Depending on each one's physical condition, these recommendations are also valid for people who recovered from a disease, because they lower the risk of relapses.
The programme offers:
- group and/or individual activities to identify and handle emerging problems in a specific way, together with local and/or hospital services;
- promoting healthy lifestyles among women of different ages through counselling and group meetings.
