The project
The I.C.A.R.E. (Integration and Community Care for Asylum and Refugees in Emergency) project is coordinated by the Emilia-Romagna Region, project leader, and sees the participation of other entities involved as partners: the USL of Modena, the Lazio Region, the Tuscany Region, the Sicily Region. The time frame covered by the project actions covers the years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Interventions
The interventions have different typologies:
- Outpatient/ individual consulting
- Outpatient / group counseling
- Group interventions in an external environment (facilities, associations, etc.).
Interventions are oriented to facilitate access to the consultatory paths of prevention and care, optimize the activity of reception of the target population, structure integrated caretaking paths through individual and / or group interventions.
ICARE users, on the basis of the expressed need, can access to all care paths active in the Counseling centers.
Research Paths
At the family counseling center, medical, obstetrical, psychological, social and educational (individual and group) consultations are offered on various care pathways, as well as on cancer screening, promotion of healthy lifestyles, national and international adoptions.
